The Waimea Arts Council is excited to announce our summer exhibit Light and Shadow showcasing our members art. Light and shadow define the world we see – revealing form, creating contrast, and shaping emotion. In this exhibition artists explore the interplay between illumination and darkness, both literal and metaphorical. The works invite viewers to consider how light transforms what is hidden into what is seen. An opening reception will be held on Saturday June 6 from 3-5 pm

This year's captivating theme is "Portal," designed to display island artists' creativity and exploration into new realms within their artistry. With the historic Firehouse Gallery as its backdrop, this event promises to be an artistic spectacle that transcends boundaries and welcomes new possibilities.
