Louise Bourgeois-Inspired Spider with artist Lorrie Taylor. In partnership with the Waimea Arts Council, Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library presents Louise Bourgeois-Inspired Spider with artist Lorrie Taylor. Using aluminum foil as a base structure, beginning artists ages 6+ will sculpt their spider with foam air dry clay. Texture can be added later for more spooky fun! In partnership with the Waimea Arts Council, Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library presents Holiday Cards with artist Irina Place. In this class, beginning artists ages 10+ will create holiday cards using the paper quilling technique. Using thin strips of paper, students will create an image using tight spirals that can be bent into shapes. All materials provided by the Waimea Arts Council.
