The Waimea Arts Council (WAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the arts, the encouragement of artists, and providing a forum for art-related community events.
To bring awareness to the 50th Anniversary starting this October, and to launch this art organization into the future with increased community involvement, the year’s celebration begins with a logo contest.
The new WAC logo could be two separate designs: one to include the words Waimea Arts Council, and the other 50th Anniversary, yet it is important for the contestants to make them both work together for the year’s needs in all written materials. The logo design will be used for all visual correspondence including printed materials, social media and internet uses.
