The Waimea Arts Council is holding it’s annual show and sale of affordable art from November 2 through December 3. “Local Art at Exceptional Prices” will be on exhibit at the Firehouse Gallery in Waimea.
A range of art from small cards to original paintings, drawings, photography, and jewelry will be available priced from $2.50 to $250. A special feature will be holiday jewelry by several local artisans including Pat Dinsman, Isanna Erlenbach, Teresa Falkenberg, Alissa Mattson, Christian Marinello, and Jay West.
On Saturday December 3, the gallery will be open from 9 am to 8 pm during the Twilight Christmas Parade. There will be coffee, hot cocoa and cookies available. Come enjoy the parade and warm up while browsing the art exhibit.
Also, from November 2 – 23, the Back Gallery will feature “Flowers” a member show of artwork with a floral theme. The show will feature all mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, jewelry and sculpture.
