Water sustains all living things – flowing through culture, memory and the natural world. In this members’ exhibition, artists interpret the essential and spiritual connection between wai (water) and life in Hawai’i. Through diverse media and perspectives the show honors water as both a precious resource and a symbol of renewal.
Come meet artists at the opening reception for Ola I Ka Wai: Water is Life on Saturday, April 4 from 3-5 pm, with light pupus and punch.
The Firehouse Gallery is located at the intersection of highways 190 and 19 and is regularly open from Thursday – Sunday 11-3 and whenever flags are flying.
