Start now creating new pieces of art for submission to the 31st Annual Helen Cassidy Memorial Juried Art Show to be held during the month of October. Pieces will be accepted for entry on Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3, from 10 am to 3 pm. All media will be accepted: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, drawing, photography, ceramic, glass, fiber, wood, sculpture, and mixed media.
Artists entering must be current or new members. Membership for WAC runs Oct. 1 – Sept. 30, so you’ll need to renew your membership to enter this show. We encourage artists to join and enter the show. Encourage family members and friends to join and support the arts in our community. You don’t have to be an artist to be a member of the Waimea Arts Council.
There is a $20 entry fee (non refundable) per piece and cash prizes will be awarded at the reception on Saturday, Oct. 10. This is a juried show, and the jurist has full discretion to determine which entries will be accepted into the show.
