Portal 3\, the island-wide Juried Fine Art Show\, is your invitation to find out. \nShown in the historic Firehouse Gallery\, until September 27\, this exhibition brings together 54 remarkable works of art – all selected by a single juror for their originality\, craftsmanship\, and bold interpretation of this year’s theme: Portal. \nExpect the unexpected. Some pieces will transport you somewhere physical\, others somewhere emotional\, and some will simply make you stop and look twice.\nWander through painting\, sculpture\, photography\, and mixed media\, all displayed within a gallery space as rich in history as the art on its walls. It’s a rare pairing—contemporary creativity set against a building with a story of its own—and one that makes every visit feel a little different. \nYou don’t need to be an art expert to enjoy Portal 3. You just need to be curious. Bring a friend\, bring your family\, or come on your own and take your time. \nOpening Reception & Awards Presentation\nSaturday\, August 1\, 3 – 5 pm.\nJoin us to celebrate the artists and meet the juror as awards are presented.
