DESCRIPTION:Come create your own origami shadow box!  The Waimea Arts Council and Thelma Parker Memorial Library are sponsoring a community art class “Origami Shadow Boxes” on March 7\, 2026 from 10-noon.  Artist Lorrie Taylor will show beginning artists 6+ how to fold their own origami shadow box and add small treasures. Students are encouraged to find treasures on a nature walk or bring small treasures from home to display in their box. Origami box materials provided by the Waimea Arts Council. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. \nClass is held at the Thelma Parker Memorial Library\, 67-1209 Mamalahoa Hwy. \nThe class is free\, but space is limited.
