SUMMARY:Life is a Journey... Appreciate the Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Life is a Journey… Appreciate the Flowers\nBarbara A. Schaefer – Photography Exhibit: December 1 – 29\, 2025.\nCome meet artists at the public reception on Saturday\, December 6 from 3 – 5 pm\, with light pupus and punch. \nArtist Statement: Fortune smiled upon me\, allowing a career of stargazing with leisure time to travel. My father taught me to appreciate the natural world\, observe and photograph. Photography is a way to capture special moments\, views and spirits; to share these with others. Grand scenes\, tiny flowers\, galaxies\, oceans\, clouds\, forests\, trees\, creatures great and small\, birds\, geckos\, rainbows\, waterfalls\, volcanoes\, patterns\, textures and dreams. They’ve all shared themselves with me. They are Collections of a Lifetime. I hope you enjoy and perhaps be inspired to likewise observe and appreciate. \nThe Firehouse Gallery is located at the intersection of highways 190 and 19 and is open from Thursday – Sunday 11-3 and whenever flags are flying. For more information\, call 808-887-1052.
