The Waimea Arts Council and Thelma Parker Memorial Public Library are offering a community art class on Polka Dot Painting. Artist Lorrie Taylor hosts the next session on Saturday, October 4 from 10 am – noon in the Thelma Parker Memorial public library meeting room. Come make a card for the occasion of your choice. The cards can be as simple or detailed as you like – the sky’s the limit. Open to the public ages 6 and up. Children under 10 need to be accompanied by an adult. Hawaii Island artists are invited to enter the 41st Annual Founders Juried Art Show, which will be held at Kamuela’s Firehouse Gallery in October and sponsored by the Waimea Arts Council. Exhibition: October 4 - 26, 2025 Reception: October 4, 3 - 5 pm
