The Waimea Arts Council’s Firehouse Gallery is presenting their annual “Affordable Art” show and sale from December 3 – 28. There will be a wide range of art – from small cards to original paintings, drawing, jewelry and prints. All are created by local artists and will be priced from $2.50 to $250.00. Stop by and browse their selections for that special Christmas gift.
On Saturday, December 6, the gallery will be open extra hours, from 9 am to 8 pm, during the annual Twilight Christmas Parade. There will be hot cocoa and cookies available to warm you up. A perfect chance to peruse the artwork while you are waiting for the parade.
In the back gallery, there will be seven artists with small solo shows. Some of these shows will continue into mid-January. You will find framed originals as well as prints and cards and even matted originals from the following artists:
